About TISSIUM
TISSIUM is a privately-owned medical technology company with headquarters in Paris and Boston. We also have an Industrial Site located in Roncq. We specialise in the development and commercialization of a unique biopolymer platform intended to meet various unmet clinical needs, including a-traumatic tissue repair and reconstruction.
Our technology is derived from research and intellectual property from the laboratories of Professor Robert Langer (MIT) and Professor Jeffrey M. Karp (Brigham and Women's Hospital), who co-founded the company in 2013 with Maria Pereira (Chief Innovation Officer) and Christophe Bancel (CEO).
Currently, we have a pipeline of seven products divided into three therapeutic areas, including peripheral nerve repair, hernia treatment and treatment of suture line leaks in cardiovascular surgery.
Joining TISSIUM means taking part in a human adventure, in a stimulating and fast-growing environment, while helping to build a future leader in its field.
Our mission is to enable a-traumatic tissue repair in order to invent the future of surgery.
